Opengl Windows 8.1
Hi, What is the make and model of the computer? This issue can be caused due to pending updates for the drivers. Let’s try the following methods and check if it helps. Method 1: I would suggest you to download and install the latest display drivers and update the chipset drivers from the manufactures’ website and check if it helps. Method 2: If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to open device manager and then try to roll back the display drivers and check if it helps. If you encounter problems with your computer or device after upgrading its driver, you might want to restore the driver for a device to a previous version.
Press Windows + R and type devmgmt.msc. Double-click the category containing your device driver, and then double-click the name of the device that you want to restore to a previous driver version. Click the Driver tab, and then click Roll Back Driver Note: If there's no previous version of the driver installed for the selected device, the Roll Back Driver button will be unavailable even if you are logged on as an administrator. Hope it helps. If you have any other questions or you need any other information about Windows, feel free to post your questions and we will be glad to help.

Thank you very much, I had found solutions for other graphics cards. I had already found the 13.4 Beta Driver, and it looked promising (it made reference to legacy support, which is what some drivers can be modified to do in notepad).

I installed it, but it didn't work. I followed your tip to 'pick a driver'/'have disk' and it worked. I will add that I had to search for the W86a_inf folder, I found it here: C: AMD AMD_Catalyst_13.4_Legacy_Beta_Vista_Win7_Win8 Packages Drivers Display W86A_INF Also I had three INF files in that location, I used the one with that started with CH. The others started with only a C followed by numbers. This was a wild guess and it worked for a Lego CAD program.
