I am wondering if there is a way to manually add codecs to a computer. I can't install VLC player or any of the codec pack, because i do not have admin rights on the computer. This is my work laptop, and am out of town, i brought a bunch of avi's to watch but didn't think of needing a codec to play them (stupid me) so i am wondering if there is a place i can d/l the codecs themself and manually put them in the right place for media player to pick up, or if there a stand alone player out there that has the codec built in but i do not have to install the player. Any help would be awsome as i am bored to tears lol thanks in advance Joe.
