So you want a ultra realistic crew simulation for your Aerosoft Airbus X Series. But you have a problem.

You don't like talking to your computer, or your don't meet the English - US requirement for Voice Control, or maybe English is not your first language and you don't feel comfortable speaking English. Not a problem. With the new Button Control version of FS2Crew for the Aerosoft Airbus X Series, you can interact with your virtual flight, cabin and ground using joystick or keyboard button presses.

So if you've ever wanted an ultra realistic Airbus flight crew simulation, but Voice Control is not your style, then the Button Control version is what you want! Requirements: • with latest Service Updates installed (Version 1.15 or later). Gtechpro Data.  Aircraft not included - sold separately • Microsoft Flight Simulator X or Prepar 3D Features: • Procedures modelled on real-world Airbus Standard Operator Procedures (SOPs) • Direct and seamless integration owing to Aerosoft's very powerful SDK. • Normal Checklists • Airbus specific Crew flows (Captain and FO, PF and PM) • FA interaction • Start Crew/Pushback interaction • Cabin announcements • Captain PAs • Bleeds off takeoffs • Various approach profiles and Missed Approaches • Turn-arounds/Thru-Flights • Circuits/Touch and Go's • External GPU handling (Engine Start and Pushback/ Gate Arrival) • Free version of FS Video Marshaller. This is an average quality product, just above freeware I would say. The flight model is reasonable and while the engine sounds are good, they sound more like in-line Merlin engines than the radials of the real aircraft. The cockpit looks authentic but low quality and night lighting is poor. The cockpit glass is way too dark and spoils views to the outside.

All livery versions come with depth charges fixed under the wing. It would have been nice to have unarmed Sunderland versions or a hotkey combination to stow and deploy the depth charges. One of the redeeming qualities of the Sunderland package is that it comes with 6 missions, which are not too bad but voice quality is very poor. Overall this just feels like a low-budget product and while it is enjoyable, it is not too immersive.
